Peer Leaders Uniting Students
PLUS (Peer Leaders Uniting Students) is a youth facilitated program that utilizes social leadership qualities to connect all students on our campus. It is a diverse cross-section of student leaders that facilitate a series of activities that create opportunities for communication, connections, care, and community amongst a student body. The PLUS program utilizes best practices strategies. Leaders run activities on campus that build community and a sense of belonging – Leaders hold monthly forums for selected students – PLUS teams collect school climate data. PLUS student leaders serve as the liaison between the student body and the adults on campus. The PLUS team is composed of 7th and 8th grade students.
